Jayhawks Take Part in First Cross Country Meet of the Season

EDINBORO, PA - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) men's and women's cross country teams took the course for the first time this weekend.

JCC participated in the Doug Watts Open in Edinboro, Pennsylvania.

On the men's side, Carson Dunn finished his 6k in a time of 25:35:80, good enough for 54th out of 60 runners.

Switching to the ladies, Autumn Pupo ran a 23:59 to finish 52nd out of 55.

This event was a tough first test for both; they were competing against Division One and Division Two four-year schools.

The next cross country meet for both is scheduled for Saturday, September 14th, at Finger Lakes Community College.
