5 Jayhawk Golfers Earn Spot in Regionals

JAMESTOWN, NY - It was another long weekend for Jamestown Community College golf, but this one ended with celebration as five Jayhawks are now qualified for the 2024 Regional Championships. The duo of Spencer Bell and Dan Towell used a good three-day stretch at Jefferson Community College, Herkimer Community College, and Onondaga Community College to capture their spots in regionals. Their three scores of 90 or better for the year added them to the list with Brady Fye, Jackson Sandhoff, and Athanasios Bakas. Those five Jayhawks now turn their attention to Glen Oaks Country Club, where Regionals are scheduled for Monday, May 13th, and Tuesday, May 14th. The next step after Regionals is the National Championship hosted by JCC from Monday, June 3rd to Friday, June 7th at Chautauqua Golf Club.
