JCC's eSports Program Earns First Playoff Victory

OLEAN, NY - Jamestown Community College's (JCC) eSports program earned its first postseason victory on Wednesday as the Jayhawks Overwatch team cruised to a 3-0 series win over Motts Community College.

Christopher Lewis set the tone early in Game 1 with a dominant 23 eliminations, 3 deaths, and 9,591 total damage.

Drake Kavanagh led the way in assists in Game 1 with 16.

Charles Sisson proved to be untouchable in Game 2 with 25 eliminations and 0 deaths.

Lewis also finished the game with 0 deaths and 21 eliminations.

Kavanagh once again led the way in the assist department with 19.

Game 3 was a masterclass performance, holding the Bears to just 1 kill to our 132.

Seth Stevenson led the way with 34 eliminations and 0 deaths.

Sisson was right behind him with 32 eliminations and 0 deaths.

Kavanagh had 24 assists in the match.

The Jayhawks Overwatch team's next playoff match is set for Saturday, December 7th, at 8 PM, with our opponent still TBD.
