JCC Golf Finished Long Weekend Trip East

JAMESTOWN, NY - Jamestown Community College traveled east for a busy weekend of golf starting last Friday.

Starting on Friday, the Jayhawks were at Hudson Valley Community College for the Vikings Invitational. JCC shot a 389, good enough for fifth place out of nine teams. JCC was led by Brady Fye, who carded an 88. Three shots back of Fye was teammate Athanasios Bakas, who shot a 91.

On Saturday, Jamestown jumped to third in the team rankings at the SUNY Adirondack Invitational Golf Tournament with a 373. JCC was just eight strokes back of finishing in the top three. This time, it was Bakas leading the way with an 85. Fye shot a 91, and Jackson Sandoff joined the under-100 club with a 94.

The Jayhawks finished the road trip on Sunday, where they again placed fourth as a team at Mohawk Valley Community College in the 2024 Hawk Invite. It was Fye and Sandoff leading the way, both shooting an 84. Bakas also broke 100 with a 94, James Pirello brought home a 95, and Colton Cappalino a 97.

JCC returns to the course on Friday when they host their event at Chautauqua Golf Course. The dirty birds then hit the road for Niagara on Saturday.
