JCC Makes It Four Straight Victories With 6-1 Win Over TCCC

JAMESTOWN, NY - On a day deemed the "Party on the Pitch" for the free food and drinks provided to Jayhawks fans, it was the men's soccer team providing the entertainment in a 6-1 decisive victory over Tompkins Cortland Community College.

The win for Jamestown Community College (JCC) made it four in a row and evened its record at 4-4-1 on the season.

The Jayhawks' scoring was started by Dominique Malhomme, who potted a goal in the 11th minute off of a cross from Noah Burch.

That lead grew to 2-0 on a magnificent strike to the top right corner from Craig Mthembu in the 19th minute.

The lead would swell to 5-0 before the break with scores added by Malhomme, another from Mthembu, and Braidan Govan.

The Panthers got on the board in the second half before Malhomme buried another show in the 87th minute to give him a hat trick and Jamestown a 6-1 edge.

Sophomore David Luque had a pair of assists in the game, pushing him to 14 in his career, a new record for JCC. He also reached 54 career points, also a JCC record.

Jamestown hits the pitch next when they visit Mohawk Valley Community College on Saturday for a night game at 7:00 PM.
