JAMESTOWN, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) women's soccer team showed determination in a 6-2 loss to undefeated Jefferson Community College.
Jamestown fell behind 3-0 early and 5-0 by half, but a spirited speech from head coach Heather Ross lifted the Jayhawks to a second half where they outscored the Cannoneers 2-1.
JCC's first goal came off the boat of Amara Pacheco in the 55th minute to make it a 5-1 game.
It was 6-1 later in the half when Teagan Kosinski buried a free kick in front of the net to make it a four-goal game.
The Jayhawks don't have time to lick their wounds with Onondaga Community College in Jamestown on Sunday at 1:00 PM.
