JAMESTOWN, NY - The Jamestown Community College volleyball team opened the 2024 season with a home match against Divison Two Lakeland Community College in front of a packed Jayhawk crowd Tuesday night.
JCC lost the contest three sets to zero, but the ladies showed growth in the three sets seeing their scoring rise from four to seven to ten throughout the night.
The Jayhawks were led by Payton Lewis' 17 total attacks and six digs, Gracelyn Kholer also had six digs, and Ashlyn Smith had 13 total attacks with four digs.
JCC makes the return trip to Lakeland on Thursday, September 5th at 6:00 PM.
Their next home match is Thursday, September 19th at 6:00 PM.
