Women's Soccer Drops a Pair of Road Games Over the Weekend

UTICA, NY - It was a tough weekend for the Jamestown Community College (JCC) women's soccer team, dropping a pair of road games at Mohawk Valley Community College and at Herkimer College.

The ladies fell to Mohawk Valley 13-0 on Saturday.

Morgan Maloney and Angel Busch combined to stop 15 shots, with each facing 14 shots on goal.

The loss pushed JCC's record down to 1-4 the season.

It was a quick turn-around for the ladies as they visited Herkimer on Sunday afternoon.

Jamestown dropped this one to the Generals 8-0. Maloney was once again in net, where she stopped ten of the 18 shots she faced.

The setback moved the Jayhawks to 1-5 on the year.

JCC stays active as they welcome SUNY Broome to Jamestown on Tuesday at 3:00 PM.
