LOCKPORT, NY - Jamestown Community College's (JCC) golf team took a depleted team up north for the SUNY Niagara Invite. JCC wasn't able to qualify as a team with only three golfers making the trip, as a few guys were dinged up from previous competitions.
The trio that took the course was sophomore Dan Towell, as well as freshmen Zach Johnson and Cole Johnson. It was the South African Zach Johnson carding the best round for JCC, shooting a 96. He was followed up by Towell's 101 and Cole Johnson's 105.
Jamestown hopes to have its full complement of golfers on Friday, May 2nd, when they travel to Jefferson Community College for their invite.
