
JAMESTOWN, NY - Jamestown Community College's (JCC) hockey team split the weekend, with a 6-2 win on Saturday over Alfred State after a 5-4 loss on Friday to Erie Community College.
Sticking with Friday, JCC trailed 4-1 early in the second before the began to rally. Jayhawk goals from Jed Hirliman and Brandon Smith cut the deficit to 4-3 heading to the third.
Erie made it 5-3 midway through the period, before Spencer Bell made it a 5-4 game with just minutes to play.
JCC wasn't able to break through again in the one-goal loss.
On Saturday, it was all Jayhawks, specifically Nate Stephens.
The JCC captain potted four goals in the 6-2 victory.
The Jayhawks get a bit of a break, coming up with no game schedule until they return home on Saturday, November 23rd, at 7:00 PM.
