OLEAN, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) eSports team had a tough draw in Super Smash Bros., taking on a pair of powerhouse programs: Johnston Community College and Southwestern Oregon Community College.

Bretten Schreve was up against an undefeated Johnston Community College student (5-0).

Schreve found himself down quickly with a 3-0 loss in Game 1 and a 3-2 loss in Game 2.

He was able to make it a match by taking games 3 and 5, but ultimately, the Jaguars would stay undefeated and take the best-of-7 series in 6 games.

Brett falls to 5-2 on the season.

Match #2 for the Jayhawks was Michael Horvath versus the Southwestern Oregon Community College (SWOCC) Lakers.

The Lakers jumped out to a quick 3-0 series lead before Mike was able to take Game 4 by 3 knockouts to 2 margin.

Unfortunately, his rally fell short as SWOCC was able to win the series 4-1 with a 3-2 win in Game 5.

The Lakers improved to 3-1 on the year, while Mike dropped to 2-2. 

Both Brett and Mike will play next Tuesday, November 19th, at 6:30.
