JCC eSports Captures Back-to-Back Wins

OLEAN, NY - The Jamestown Community College eSpots team improved to 9-3 as a unit with a pair of wins this week. 

Bretten Chreve of Westfield improved to 5-0 on the season after a 4-0 win over Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, who dropped to 1-5 on the season. Chreve won his four games by scores of 3-0, 3-0, 3-1, and 3-0.

With the win, Brett moved up to 11th place nationally out of 232 other participants. He also improved his individual game record to 20-1, a 95% win rate, which is tied for third in the league among the 17 teams with at least five matches played (some have played as many as 8 matches). Among those with 5 matches or less played, he is ranked #1 in the league.
 
Michael Horvath was given a league-generated bye week, so his record remains 2-0. 

Both look to keep their streaks going next Tuesday, November 5th, starting at 6:30 PM.
 
The Jayhawks Overwatch 2 team improved their record to 2-1 on the season after a quick 3-0 in a best of five win against the Luzerne County Community College Trailblazers, who fell to 1-3 with the loss.
 
The Jayhawks swept Game one by a score of 2-0 and took a more competitive Game two by a score of 2-1 before JCC ultimately closed out the match with a 1-0 win in Game three. 
 
Captain Drake Kavanagh had a double-digit lead over all other players for assists (17), while Charles Sisson led the way with 18 kills and just 1 death in the match.
 
Newcomers Chris Lewis and Tavish Sergay also shined in the win with double-digit kill stat lines (18 and 13, respectively), including Chris leading the team for total damage done (6,815). 
The Jayhawks will look to continue their winning ways next Wednesday, November 6th, at 6:30.
