Jayhawks Overcome 2-0 Deficit to Force Tie with Corning

JAMESTOWN, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) women's soccer team battled back from an early hole to earn a 2-2 tie with Corning Community College.

JCC was down 2-0 into the second half before a pair of beautiful plays brought the score even.

First, goalie Morgan Maloney sent a pristine pass to the feet of Teagan Kosinski, who finished the run for the goal and a one-goal deficit.

Just two minutes later, Amara Pacheco was taken down inside the 18-foot box for a Jayhawks' penalty kick. Her teammate Addison Hultberg stepped up and smashed home the PK for a 2-2 game.

The final 23 minutes were clean, leading to the 2-2 draw.

JCC is now 2-8-1 on the season.

The Jayhawks are back on the home pitch on Wednesday, October 16th, at 4:30 PM when they host Genesee CC.
