Jayhawks Win Third Straight, Sting Broome 5-0

JAMESTOWN, NY - Jamestown Community College (JCC) men's soccer made it three straight dominating wins on Wednesday afternoon as they stung SUNY Broome Community College 5-0.

The Jayhawks jumped all over the Hornets early with the first career-goal from Braidan Govan in the seventh minute.

It didn't take long for the freshman to net his second with a splendid header on an assist from David Luque in the fourteenth minute.

Speaking of Luque, he drove home his 20th goal of his JCC career in the 25th minute to make it 3-0 Jamestown as they went to the break.

It looked like Broome may get on the board in the second before Cian Galvin made both of his saves on the day.

The Jayhawks added some insurance in the 75th and 77th minutes on scores from Dominique Malhomme to give him 14 goals for his career.

Galvin kept the clean sheet the rest of the way for his third win in JCC's net.

The win pushes Jamestown to 3-4-1 on the year.

The Dirty Birds stay home with their next game taking place on Saturday, September 21st, at 1:00 PM against Tompkins Cortland Community College.
