HERKIMER, NY - Jamestown Community College's (JCC) Carson Dunn wrapped up his season with a solid showing in the Region 3 cross country championships held at Herkimer Community College.

The freshman placed 24th out of 51 meet.

The Jayhawks' lone runner improved five seconds off of his personal best time, running a 33:43.5 in the 8k race.

Head coach Darion Gregory was proud of his runner's performance. "Carson came to compete," he said. "He passed eight guys in the last half mile of the race," added Gregory.

As a freshman, Carson will now be the leader of the JCC squad in 2025.
