JCC Erupts for 11 Goals in Win Over Lorain

JAMESTOWN, NY - Jamestown Community College's (JCC) men's soccer had its best offensive outing with 11 goals in their win over Lorain Community College.

The JCC starters built a quick 5-0 lead before 20 minutes had elapsed from the clock.

Mohamadu Bah opened the scoring in the second minute with his first of the year.

The combo of Dominique Malhomme and David Luque teamed up for the next two goals, with Luque feeding Malhome to push JCC up by three. Luque would score later in the game, pushing his program record for points in a season to 36. With his two goals and an assist, Malhomme is now tied with David at 36 points on the season.

A quartet of Jayhawks scored their first-career goals in the victory: Ethyn Gilbert, Keegan Rishel, Tyler Maloney, and Michael Gilbert netted their first goals. The tally from Mike Gilbert was a spectacular corner that found the top-right corner of the net.

Jay Button also scored a pair, Gauthier Acloque scored his second of the season, and Braidan Govan added three assists.

In net, Williams Andersson earned his first-career win, stopping two of the four shots he faced.

The win evens JCC's record at 6-6-1 on the season.

They're back on the pitch at SUNY Niagara on Wednesday at 2:00 PM.
