eSports Woes Continue in Rocket League

OLEAN, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) woes persisted this week as the Rocket League team dropped its best of five series against Shelton State Community College 3-2.

Every match, with the exception of Game 4, which the Jayhawks won 3-1, went to overtime. While both teams scored 13 goals during the series, the biggest difference was the Bucs 47 total shots to JCC's 33.

The Jayhawks found ourselves on defense too often. Adam Powell led the Jamestown in all major categories in the loss.

Adam Powell: 6 goals, 4 assists, 11 saves, and 13 shots.
Logan McIntosh: 4 goals, 1 assist, 6 saves, and 11 shots.
Colton Schuman: 3 goals, 1 assist, 5 saves, and 9 shots in his debut match of the season.

With the loss, the Jayhawks drop to 0-2 on the season and will look to right the ship next Friday, November 15th.
