BUFFALO – The next wave of academic awards have come in for Jamestown Community College student-athletes, having 47 representatives o the 2022-23 Western New York Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference Team. The Jayhawks’ 47 representatives were second-most in the conference, just seven behind Monroe Community College.

To be eligible for this honor, all honorees must have earned at least a 3.30 GPA and with a minimum of 24 credit hours taken during the 2022-23 academic year and participated in one season of sport.

For the men, baseball led the way with nine honorees with soccer having eight honorees. Golf had four representatives with basketball and swimming & diving, each having three. Wrestling rounds out the men’s sports with one honoree.

For the women, basketball led the way with seven honorees with soccer and softball each having six. Swimming & diving rounds out the women’s sport with two representatives.

**Student-athletes earned at least a 3.75 GPA or better.
