Golf Competes At Hawk Invitational

ONEIDA – Golfing in the first of three straight days of golf matches, the Jamestown Community College golf team competed at the Mohawk Valley Community College Hawk Invitational.

 

Competing at the Oneida Community Golf Club, the Jayhawks finished with a team score of 347 to finish fifth out of nine teams.

 

Leading the JCC was Traden Gray (Frewsburg, NY/Frewsburg HS) with a score of 83, tying him for 12th place. Anthony Gullo (Jamestown, NY/Jamestown HS) was the next lowest Jayhawk scorer, finishing with a round score of 85 to finish tied for 19th place. Austyn Cummings (Warren, PA/Warren Area PA) was the third lowest scorer for JCC, coming in with a score of 87 to finish in 23rd place.

 

Brady Fye (Lakewood, NY/Southwestern High) placed tied for 32nd with a score of 92. The duo of Noah Adams (Mayville, NY/Chautauqua Lake Central) and Athanasios Bakas (North Riding, Johannesburg, South Africa/The King's College and Preparatory School) both handed in scores of 93, tying them for 34th place.

 

Rounding out the Jayhawk golfers was Maxim Johnson (Johannesburg, South Africa/King Edwards VII School) with a score of 96 to place tied for 39th.

 

JCC will have a quick turnaround, heading to SUNY Adirondack Community College to play at Hiland Park Golf Club tomorrow, April 22nd, starting at 10 a.m
