Jayhawks Fall to 1-2 in eSports Competitions
OLEAN, NY - It was a tough battle for the Jamestown Community College eSports team, dropping a 2-0 series in Rainbow Six: Siege to Mountain Gateway Community College Friday night.

The Jayhawks were without captain Drake Kavanagh, but Olean High School student Alex Ash-West stepped in as a substitute and led the way with nine kills and three assists. Gabe Hardwick was right behind him with six kills.

"Not the game we wanted following the program's first win, and there were some costly decisions on our end, and being without Drake this week never gave the team a chance to get settled in and play their game," said head coach James DiBlasi.

The loss sets JCC back to 1-2 on the season. Next up for the Dirty Birds is a match next Friday versus an opponent to be named later.
