3 Jayhawks Score Double Doubles In Big Win

The JCC Jayhawks men's basketball team (4-4) went on the road to face the Panthers of the University of Pitt-Titusville (1-6).   The Jayhawks were able to build an 8 point half time lead in large part to great rebounding and efficient scoring as they led 47-39.  Both teams offenses took it up a notch as in the second half as the Panthers outscored the Jayhawks 50-48 but the first half lead sealed the Panthers fate as the Jayhawks went onto win 95-89 with 3 players scoring double doubles.   

The Jayhawks were led by #34 Jean Toussaint who had a double double of 24 points and 16 rebounds;  #4 Michael Bush (Harlem) had a double double as well consisting of 19 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals; #32 Brandon Kemp (Brooklyn) had the final double double with 17 points, 15 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks; #12 Tyler Moffe had 10 oints and 7 rebounds; #10 Derek Ice (Bronx) had 9 points and 4 assists; #20 Tanner Dahl (Westfield) had 6 points and 5 rebounds; and #22 Dashawn Branch had 5 points.
