JONESBORO, AR - Former Jamestown Community College men's basketball player and coach Bryan Hodgson is taking Arkansas State's men's basketball program to levels none of its players have seen before. For the first time since 1999, a 25-year span, the Red Wolves men's basketball team will participate in a postseason basketball tournament. Hodgson's crew will play in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) as the fourth seed. The Red Wolves will take on Bethune-Cookman on Saturday, March 23, at 1:00 PM in the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. A win in that game will place Hodgson in the semis on March 26th, which will air on ESPN2.

The Jamestown native has made the game of basketball his life. Playing for the Jayhawks and earning captain status for two seasons before becoming a coach for JCC from 2010 to 2013. After graduating from JCC, Bryan finished his athletic and academic careers at Fredonia State; he also served as an assistant coach for the Blue Devils.
