Women's Basketball vs. Pitt-Titusville

The JCC Jayhawks women's basketball team (NJCAA div.  2, 2-5) traveled to Pitt-Titusville to face the Panthers on Wednesday night.  The game was close through the first quarter, but the Jayhawks took control after that and began to pull away.  Their dominance continued through the balance of the game, taking them en route to a 77-48 victory.  One of the main reasons they were able to do this was through good ball sharing, with 20 assists for the team.

The Jayhawks were led by #24 Alisha Szumigala 's (Forestville) 32 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists.  #33 Brianne Davis (Bemus Point) led in assists with 8, also having 5 points and 4 rebounds.  Other key contributions included #20 Sydney Wight (Wellsville) with 16 points and 3 rebounds; #30 Natalie Houle (Sherman) with 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists; #4 Bianca Brown (Niagara Falls) with 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists; #43 Kelsey Johnson (Panama) with 4 points and 6 rebounds; and #22 Samantha Graham (Taupo, New Zealand) with 3 points and 3 rebounds.  #11 Kaleigh Brunswick (South Dayton) also had 3 rebounds for the Jayhawks.
