Jayhawks women's basketball season preview for 2015-16 with Coach Travis Wells:

 

How are you feeling about this upcoming season?
I'm excited to start the new season. I'm looking forward to the challenge of continuing the great success of the women's basketball team here at JCC, there has been a long tradition of winning with the women's program that was set in place by Keith Martin and I'm looking forward to continuing the tradition.

Around how many kids are you expecting to come and try out for the team?
This season we're looking forward to having anywhere from 10-12 girls to come out for the team.

How do you feel about this years recruiting class?
I'm very excited this season to have a lot of local talent on my roster. The women's program at JCC has always prided themselves with taking the best local talent in the area and having them work together on the court.

Are there any returning players you look forward to working with?
Yes I've had the opportunity to watch the team last year and I'm very excited to work with Alisha Szumigala and Kelsey Johnson. I'm also very excited about Kayla Mansfield who transferred into JCC this year.
