Kramer Wins 50 Yard Freestyle; JCC Women Sit 4th After Day One of the Snow Flurry Invitational

CORTLAND, NY - Jamestown Community College women's swimming and diving sits fourth after day one of the Snow Flurry Invitational at SUNY Cortland.

The Jayhawks were once again led by sophomore Madison Kramer (Falconer, NY / Falconer HS), who took home first in the 50-yard freestyle.

In the 500 free, Ella Fosberg (Jamestown, NY / Southwestern Central School) came in 12th of 19 competitors.

JCC had four competitors in the 200 IM, Lindsey Spitz (Jamestown, NY / Jamestown HS) claimed 8th, Stacey Blackler (Edenvale, Gauteng, South Africa / Edanvale HS) 10th, Anna Jones (Jamestown, NY / Southwestern Central School) 12th, and Paiden Wittmeyer (Stockton, NY / Cassadaga Central) 13th.

Jamestown earned 3rd in the 200 medley relay with the steam of Kramer, Spitz, Wittmeyer, and Blackler.

They also finished 6th in the 800 freestyle relay behind Jones-Carrillo, Blackler, Spitz, and Fosberg.

In the diving pool, it was Ashlynn Swan (Jamestown, NY / Southwestern Central School) taking 3rd and Shaylyn Owens (Delevan, NY / Pioneer Central) 10th.

The team is right back in the pool on Saturday as they finish up the invite.
