Jayhawks Home Debut

The Jamestown Community College Swimming and Diving team opened their season on Saturday in a quad meeting against Monroe, Genesee, and Erie Community Colleges. The women's team was third and the men's team was fourth.  "While we had hoped for a better finish the swimmers and divers had some promising individual efforts" head coach Mike Giambruno stated. "It was our first meet so we understand that the season is all in front of us and we have plenty of time for improvement.  We hope and I expect better performances from all our team members" Giambruno said.

On the women's side Rachel Moller was fourth in the 50 free in 30.31. Autumn Ridout was third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.47, Jessica Schneggenberger was third in the 200 free in 2:26.47, Kaitlyn Melendez was fifth in the 200 Individual Medley in 2:51.40.  Christine Kuziminski was second in one meter diving with a score of 186.00
