Gray Finishes Second At Hudson Valley CC Invitational

VOORHEESVILLE – On the backend of their three-day golf outing, the Jamestown Community College golf team competed at Colonie Golf & Country Club Sunday afternoon in the Hudson Valley Community College Invitational.

 

The Jayhawks finished with a team score of 322, placing them in third place out of the eight teams that competed. Traden Gray (Frewsburg, NY/Frewsburg HS) shot his best round of the year, finishing with a score of 75 to place second. Noah Adams (Mayville, NY/Chautauqua Lake Central) also shot his best round of the year, finishing with a score of 79 to tie for ninth place.

 

Anthony Gullo (Jamestown, NY/Jamestown HS) tied for 18th place, shooting a score of 83. Austyn Cummings (Warren, PA/Warren Area HS) was close behind, shooting an 85 to tie for 21st. Athanasios Bakas (North Riding, Johannesburg, South Africa/The King's College and Preparatory School) was also in the mix, finishing 23rd with a score of 86.

 

Brady Fye (Lakewood, NY/Southwestern High) had a round score of 91 to finish 32nd and Maxim Johnson (Johannesburg, South Africa/Kind Edwards VII School) rounded out the Jayhawk golfers with a score of 108 to finish 43rd.

 

JCC will be back in action this Friday, April 28th, as they host the Jayhawk Invitational at Chautauqua Golf Club.
