Jayhawks Place Fourth At The Lazers lakeshore Challenge

CICERO – In the last of their three-match golf trip, the Jamestown Community College golf team placed fourth at the Lazers Lakeshore Challenge at the Lakeshore Country Club Sunday afternoon.

 

The Jayhawks finished with their best team score of the season with a score of 367 on the par 72 course.

 

Traden Gray (Frewsburg, NY/Frewsburg HS) paced JCC with a ninth place finish, shooting an 83 with Trevor Harrington (Arcade, NY/Pioneer Central) scoring his best round of the season with 91. Harrington's score placed him tied for 18th.

 

Noah Adams (Mayville, NY/Chautauqua Lake Central) came in 21st to wrap up his weekend, shooting a 95. Kyle Smallback (Randolph, NY/Randolph HS) was close behind with his score of 98, tying him for 22nd place on the day.

 

The pair of Josh Brown (Randolph, NY/Randolph HS) and Connor Hogg (Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa/King Edwards VII School) finished back-to-back, placing 26th and 27th, respectively. Brown shot a 101 with Hogg coming in with a 103.

 

Keagan Hogg (Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa/King Edwards VII School) rounded out the Jayhawk golfers, placing 31st with a score of 139.

 

The Jayhawks will be back in action this Friday, April 29th, as they will compete at the Chautauqua Golf Club.
