LOCKPORT – In their golf match on Saturday afternoon, the Jamestown Community College golf team placed fifth at the Niagara County CC Invitational played at the par 71 Willowbrook Golf Club.
The Jayhawks posted a team score of 364 with Traden Gray (Frewsburg, NY/Frewsburg HS) leading the flock. Gray finished tied for 6th, posting a round score of 80.
Matthew Fennell (Fourways Garden, Johannesburg, South Africa/King Edwards VII School) was the next Jayhawk to finish, shooting a 93 to tie for 21st place. JCC had three golfers finish in order with Trevor Harrington (Arcade, NY/Pioneer Central), Josh Brown (Randolph, NY/Randolph HS), and Kyle Smallback (Randolph, NY/Randolph HS) finished 24th-26th with scores being 94 and a pair of 95 scores.
Noah Adams (Mayville, NY/Chautauqua Lake Central) came in 30th place with a score of 99. Connor Hogg (Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa/King Edwards VII School) and Keagan Hogg (Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa/King Edwards VII School) finished 35th and 36th with scores of 103 and 108.
The Jayhawks will be back in action next Friday, May 6th, as they compete at the Jefferson Community College Invitational.
