CHAUTAUQUA - After a brief thunderstorm delay just halfway through the round, the Jamestown Community College golf team has day one of the Region 3 Golf Championships in the books at Chautauqua Golf Club.

 

Traden Gray (Frewsburg, NY/Frewsburg HS) is currently the highest Jayhawks scorer, shooting an 83 and is currently sitting in 11th place. Josh Brown (Randolph, NY/Randolph HS) shot hsi best score at the course, coming in with a score of 89 and is in 18th place.

 

Trevor Harrington (Arcade, NY/Pioneer Central) shot below his average, coming in 22nd place with a score of 94. Noah Adams (Mayville, NY/Chautauqua Lake HS) and Kyle Smallback (Randolph, NY/Randolph HS) are currently both tied for 24th, each shooting a round score of 97.

 

The Jayhawks will be back at it for day two of the Region 3 Golf Championships tomorrow with the final round beginning at 9 a.m.
