Jayhawks Place Fifth At The McConnellsville Shootout

BLOSSVALE – In the second day of a three-day road trip, the Jamestown Community College golf team competed in the McConnellsville Shootout at the McConnellsville Golf Course Saturday afternoon.

 

The Jayhawks placed fifth as a team, shooting a combined score of 382 on the par 70 course.

 

Traden Gray (Frewsburg, NY/Frewsburg HS) led the way for the team, placing tied for 14th with a score of 88. Kyle Smallback (Randolph, NY/Randolph HS) was the second Jayhawk to come in, scoring a 95 and placed tied for 24th. Noah Adams (Mayville, NY/Chautauqua Lake Central) was close behind, shooting a 96 to finish in 26th place.

 

Josh Brown (Randolph, NY/Randolph HS) came in 34th place, shooting a 103, while Trevor Harrington (Arcade, NY/Pioneer Central) came in 35th place with a score of 103. Connor Hogg (Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa/King Edwards VII School) followed suite, coming in 36th place with a score of 105.

 

Keagan Hogg (Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa/King Edwards VII School) rounded out the Jayhawk competitors finishing in 40th place, shaving 25 strokes off his score the previous day with a score of 123.

 

The Jayhawks will be back in action tomorrow, April 24th, as they end their road trip with the Lazers Lakshore Challenge.
