Spotlight Athlete of the Week

This week’s spotlight athlete is Anthony Miller, a freshman member of our golf team. When deciding on coming to JCC and becoming a Jayhawk. The golf team really pulled him in, “I heard great things about JCC’s golf team and the experience, and I also think that the Jayhawks is a cool team name,” he says.

His favorite thing to do on campus is going to his Children’s Literature class, saying that it is both a different type of class environment and pretty fun as well.

When it comes to college athletics, Miller says, “I love that I get to represent a college team and compete and win against college athletes. It feels awesome!”

Even though Miller is a freshman, he still has good hopes of continuing to play after he is done here, but he isn’t sure where he wants to go yet.

For the other athletes, he says, “Don’t put a lot of pressure on yourself, just go out and play. Give it your best and don’t overthink it.”
