Jayhawks Place Sixth at the Herkimer College Invitational

HERKIMER - Traveling east for the Herkimer College Invitational, the Jamestown Community College men's swimming & diving team placed sixth out of seven teams, scoring 47 points on the afternoon.

 

The Jayhawks (1-3) were led by Colby Pantall (Jamestown, NY/Maple Grove HS), grabbing a pair of third-place finishes. Pantall placed third in the 500 yard freestyle, finishing with a time of 6:01.25, shaving seven seconds off his previous personal best. Pantall also placed third in the 1000 yard freestyle, finishing with a time of 12:35.16. Pantall took 16 seconds off his previous best in the event.

 

Cole Carlson (Boonsboro, MD/Southwestern High) Had two top-five finishes on the day including a third-place finish in the 100 yard freestyle. In the 100 yard freestyle, Carlson had a time of 54.79. In the 500 yard freestyle, Carlson finished fourth with a time of 6:46.88.

 

The Jayhawks will be back in action on Saturday, December 4th, as they compete in the Genesee CC Invitational at 1 p.m.
