JCC's Alex Watt Commits to West Liberty for Soccer
JAMESTOWN, NY - Jamestown Community College's Alex Watt has committed to continuing his academic and athletic careers at West Liberty University in West Virginia.

Watt appeared in 36 games for the Jayhawks, where he set a program record with 21 goals and 48 points. He was also named All-Region in his both of his seasons in Jamestown.

The Belfast, Northern Ireland native plans to study sports management at WLU while taking the pitch for the Hilltoppers. "JCC helped me prepare for this move as I have gotten used to the american education system. Living in a smaller college environment has helped me transition into going to a bigger college with more people," said Watt.

The forward made a major impact on JCC soccer; and it made a mark on him. "JCC soccer has helped me prepare by giving me the platform to be able to perform in the college soccer world, competing against some of the best schools in Junior College and taught me the requirements to succeed in college soccer," added Watt.

Alex feels his move to West Libery is perfect one for him at this time in his life. "My decision to attend West Liberty was that I felt this was the best move for me. After having a great talk with Coach, Regan, and visiting the campus, I could picture myself living there and succeeding in this type of environment," mentioned Watt.
