Watt & Kramer Named To All-Region Teams

JAMESTOWN – Adding on to an already historic season, the Jamestown Community College men’s soccer team had two players selected to the NJCAA Region 3 All-Region Teams.

 

The Jayhawks are represented by freshman forward Alex Watt (Belfast, Northern Ireland/Campbell College) with Second Team All-Region honors while freshman Carlos Kramer (Caxias do Sul, RS, Brazil/CETEC-UCS) being named Third Team All-Region.

 

Alex Watt, Freshman Forward – Second Team All-Region

Watt rewrote the record book during his freshman campaign, setting a new mark for goals in a season and tied career goals with 15 on the year. Watts 15 goals on the season ranked him third in Region 3 and fifth in all of Division III soccer.

 

Watt had five multi-goal games on the year including a three-goal game towards the end of the regular season. Watt scored his three goals in a game at Roberts Wesleyan University.

 

The Jayhawks were fifth in the region in scoring offense, scoring 47 goals on the season.

 

Carlos Kramer, Freshman Defense – Third Team All-Region

Kramer was a strong defender for the Jayhawks throughout the year, helping the team earn seven shutouts on the season.

 

Kramer also go involved on the offensive end of the field, assisting on a pair of goals.
