Women's Soccer Have Four All-WNYAC Selections

JAMESTOWN – The Western New York Athletic Conference All-WNYAC honorees have been selected and the Jamestown Community College women’s soccer team have four members earn second team selections.

 

For the Jayhawks, midfielder Kylie Keefe (Mayville, NY/Chautauqua Lake Central), midfielder/forward Jaclyn Bush (Jamestown, NY/Jamestown HS), defender/midfielder Hannah Sholl (Jamestown, NY/Southwestern High), and midfielder Emma Fox (Port Allegany, PA/Port Allegany HS) had outstanding seasons, all being selected to the Second Team All-WNYAC.

 

Kylie Keefe – Freshman Midfielder – Second Team All-WNYAC

Keefe, making 13 starts for the Jayhawks, had a strong presence on the defense of the field. Keefe made the opportunities for the opposing defense more challenging, not giving up easy shots.

 

Keefe scored on goal on the season, coming in a 3-0 win over Corning Community College.

 

Jaclyn Bush – Freshman Midfielder/Forward – Second Team All-WNYAC

Bush, making 13 starts for JCC, was the leading goal scorer for the Jayhawks with four goals on the season. Bush scored a career-high two goals against SUNY Adirondack in a 3-2 double overtime defeat.

 

To accompany her goal-scoring, Bush added one assist on the season.

 

Hannah Sholl – Sophomore Midfielder/Defender – Second Team All-WNYAC

Sholl, making 12 starts on the year, was another stout defender for the Jayhawks. Much like Keefe, Sholl made it difficult for the opposing defenses to get their shots off on goal.

 

Sholl was a contributor on the offensive end as well, scoring one goal while adding one assist. Sholl’s goal came in a game against Fulton-Montgomery Community College while her assist came against SUNY Adirondack.

 

Emma Fox – Freshman Midfielder – Second Team All-WNYAC

Fox, making 13 starts for the Jayhawks, was the team’s other option on the offensive end, finishing with three goals on the year. Fox scored the team’s first goal of the season coming in a 2-1 victory against Columbia-Greene Community College.
