Clark returned to the Jayhawk baseball program as an assistant coach before the stat of the 2016 season after playing shortstop for the team from 2004-2006.

Clark's focus is with the pitching staff on game days, along with coaching first base. 

Under his guidance as a coach, Clark has three NJCAA All-Region 3 players, along with 12 Western New York Athletic Conference All-Conference performers.
