JAMESTOWN – Continuing their hot play over the last two weeks, the Jamestown Community College men's soccer team took down Erie Community College Wednesday afternoon, 4-2.

The Jayhawks (6-5, 1-2 WNYAC) got on the board early in the match as freshman forward Ethan Richardson (Truro, England/Bridgend College) found the back of the net off the feed from sophomore forward Jesse da Costa (Perth, Western Australia/SEDA) in the 15th minute of play. JCC came back in the 17th minute as freshman midfielder Louis Hurst (Blackpool, England/Cardinal Newman College) got on the board with Richardson picking up the assist to go up 2-0.

JCC extended their lead in the 34th minute as sophomore forward Ryan Koch (Auckland, New Zealand/Long Bay College) broke away for a score to push the game to 3-0.

The Jayhawks put the game on ice in the 55th minute with great teamwork by Hurst to find da Costa for the score to make it 4-0.

Freshman goalkeeper Bryan Anderson (Ashville, NY/Chautauqua Lake Central) earned the win in net while making eight saves.
