JCC to face Roberts Wesleyan in a friendly Friday Night

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. - The Jamestown Community College men's soccer team will hit the road once again this Friday to face off against NCAA Division II Roberts Wesleyan in a friendly match.

The Jayhawks (10-4-3, 1-1-1) are coming off a 3-2 loss in a friendly against Gannon University. JCC got both of their goals from freshman forward Luuk Willemsen with Kean Thomas coming away with one assists.

Sophomore goalkeeper Jakob Moore made seven saves on 10 shots faced in 60 minutes of action. Freshman goalkeeper Thomas Harrington saw 13 minutes of play, making two saves.

The team will look to gain some momentum with the chance at a post season berth.

The match will begin at 7 p.m. at the Roberts Wesleyan Outdoor Stadium.
