JCC Takes Part in Whizzer Open; Keefe Finishes Fourth

DEARBORN, MI - The Jamestown Community College wrestling team traveled to Dearborn, Michigan, on Sunday for the Whizzer Open.

JCC had three wrestlers compete in the event, all three making it to at least the third round of their weight class.

Sophomore Kyle Keefe had the best showing, winning his first two matches by pin before falling in the third-place contest at 184lbs, giving him a fourth-place finish.

In 141lbs, Ryan Parton advanced to the fourth round, and in 133lbs, Gavin Warner lost in the third round.

The squad has a couple of weeks off before they head to Niagara County Community College for Districts on Saturday, February 17th.
