Ramsey & Potts Pick Up Wins Against Gannon

JAMESTOWN - In their first action at home in the spring semester, the Jamestown COmmunity College wrestling team picked up a pair of wins over Gannon University.

 

The Jayhawks got started with sophomore 133 pounder Brendon Ramsey (Panama, NY/Panama HS) made quick work against Constantine Gehring, getting the fall in 47 seconds.

 

Freshman 141 pounder Luke Potts (Pittsburgh, PA/West Allegheny HS) kept the momentum going in the next match, grinding out a 4-0 decision victory over Reese Vollmer.

 

The Jayhawks will be back in action next Tuesday, January 17th, as they travel to Niagara County Community College for a 6 p.m. start.
