Jamestown was led by freshman Jhamien Smith and sophomore Samad Bailey, who scored 18 in the loss.

Rochester native Jalyn Moorehead also reached double-digits, scoring 10 points in his hometown.

The Jayhawks finished the season with a 9-18 record, but they had pulled off back-to-back upsets before the postseason started.
