Jayhawks' Men's Hoops Look to Snap Skid

Jayhawks' Men's Hoops Look to Snap Skid

JAMESTOWN, NY - It hasn't been the start to the 2023-24 season that the Jamestown Community College men's basketball team was looking for, dropping their first three games.

JCC aims to right the ship with a pair of games at Monroe Community College this weekend in the Murph Shapiro Classic.

The Jayhawks take on Sullivan County Community College on Saturday at 4:00 PM. Sullivan comes into the game with a 2-0 record, both wins coming in overtime. Jamestown then takes on Cecil College on Sunday at 2:00 PM. Cecil lost its only contest so far this season.

It's small fixes needed for JCC. Entering the weekend, they are struggling from the free throw line (59.8%) and beyond the arc (24.6%).

After the Classic in Rochester, Jamestown returns home to host Bryant and Stratton (OH) on Tuesday, November 14th, at 6:00 PM.
