JCC Prepares to Host 2025 NJCAA Division 3 Golf Championships

CHAUTAUQUA, NY - Jamestown Community College (JCC) will host the 2025 NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) Men's and Women's Divison III Golf National Championships from Tuesday, June 3rd to Friday, June 6th at Chautauqua Golf Club (CGC), with practice rounds taking part Monday, June 2nd. The field of 108 golfers will attack the Lake Course of CGC, looking for their spot atop the leaderboard. This is the 26th consecutive year that JCC has played host to the event, and the Jayhawks look forward to continuing that trend in the future, with the event scheduled to return through 2028.

The field consists of 25 schools coming from 12 different states and 11 regions of athletic competition. There will also be 19 women competing in the event, the most the tournament has seen in its illustrious history. The ladies will arrive from four different states and nine institutions.

There are eight returning All-Americans on the men's side: Landon Cabingas (Sandhills Community College), Brady Wentz, Gehrig Massey, and Ross Tetrault (Georgia Military College), Anthony Regimand (College of DuPage), Adam Firkins (SUNY Niagara), Mateo Medina (RCSJ - Cumberland), and Jaydon Dietz (Herkimer College).

On the women's side, there are four returning All-Americans: Ivy Burnett (College of DuPage), Megan Redig (Rock Valley College), Sydni Sundstrom (County College of Morris), and Lani Guzman (RCSJ - Gloucester).

Jamestown finished 10th in the nation last year, and will have three golfers take part in 2025: Dan Towell, Zach Johnson, and Cole Johnson. JCC's best finish in the tournament came back in 2000 when they won the Division III championship.

This is a great event for the Chautauqua community as the teams each bring coaches, athletic directors, friends, and family to Jamestown and the surrounding area. For more information on the tournament you can go to the event homepage on the JCC Jayhawks' website.
