EAST AMHERST, NY - Jamestown Community College golf sits in third place overall after the first day of the Region 3 championships at Glen Oaks Golf Course just outside of Buffalo.
The low man on the day, not just for the Jayhawks but for the tournament, is JCC sophomore Brady Fye, who carded a 75. That score is two shots clear of his closest competition. Jackson Sandhoff was the second-best player for the Jayhawks, shooting an 82. The rest of the group looks like this: Athanasios Bakas (98), Dan Towell (99), and Spencer Bell (101).
Day two of the championship tees off early Tuesday morning.
