The JCC Jayhawks men's baseball team (NJCAA Div II, 1-10) went on the road to play the Lakers of Finger Lakes Community College (NJCAA Div II, 16-4).  Scoring started in Game 1 when the Lakers scored first and took a 1-0 lead which lasted 3 innings.  The Jayhawks bats came alive in the 4^th inning scoring two runs in the 4^th and 1 run in the 5^th inning.  The Lakers scored as well in the 5^th inning leaving the Jayhawks with a narrow 3-2 lead.  All seemed well until the last inning when the Lakers rallied, scoring 2 runs to down the Jayhawks 4-3.  The Jayhawks offense was led by #21 Robbie Burgess ' (Westfield) 1 hit and 1 RBI; #10 Michael Williamson (Cuba) and #15 Connor Fitzgerald (Ontario) scored 1 run each; #18 Michael Wilcox (Falconer) had 1 hit and 1 RBI; #23 Andrew Latona (Jamestown) had 1 RBI; #2 Cam Haberberger (Jamestown) had 1 hit and scored 1 run; and #4 Justin Forster (East Otto) had a sacrifice fly.  On Defense, the Jayhawks were led by pitcher #18 Michael Wilcox (Falconer) who played the entire game, facing 34 batters he allowed 5 hits, 2 earned runs, and struck out 6 batters.

Game 2 did not go well for the Jayhawks.  After 3 innings the Jayhawks found themselves down 17-1.  The Jayhawks scored 2 runs in the 5^th but the damage was already done as the Lakers downed the Jayhawks 17-3.  The Jayhawks offense was led by #15 Connor Fitzgerald (Ontario) who scored 1 run, had 2 hits (a double and a Home Run), and 2 RBI's;  #21 Robbie Burgess (Westfield) scored 1 run; #10 Michael Williamson (Cuba) had 1 hit and 1 RBI; #4 Justin Forster (East Otto), #2 Cam Haberberger (Jamestown), and #25 Jeremy Cole (Sherman) each had 1 hit; and #11 Bryce Sherrard (Youngsville) scored 1 run.  #10 Michael Williamson (0-4) took the loss for the Jayhawks allowing 7 Earned Runs and 7 hits; #3 John White (Warren), #14 Josh Jones (Cuba), and #25 Jeremy Cole also saw time on the mound.
