AUBURN — Behind stellar performances from Cody Latimer and Anthony Miller, the Jamestown Community College golf team ended up in a tie for second place with a cumulative score of 329 Friday at the Nicholas J. DeSocio Memorial Invitational hosted by Cayuga CC at the Highland Park Golf Club.
Latimer fired a 4-over par 75, which was good enough for the second-lowest individual score, right behind Mohawk Valley CC's Dante Migliore, who shot a 1-over 72 to claim the individual title.
Miller came through with a 6-over 77 for the third-lowest score.
In team results, Mohawk Valley CC was first with a score of 328, Jamestown CC and Onondaga CC were tied for second with a 329, Niagara County CC was fourth with a 330, Tompkins-Cortland CC was fifth with a 355, Jeffferson CC was sixth with a 362, Genesee CC was seventh with a 389 and Cayuga CC was incomplete.
