JAMESTOWN – This weekend, the Jamestown Community college cross country team will competing in the Region 3 Cross Country Championships tomorrow morning, hosted by Finger Lakes Community College.

The women's team, led by Emma Redlecki (Clymer, NY/Clymer Central), will look to become a two-time All-Region honoree after placing fifth in last year's event. Earlier this season at the FLCC Bruce Bridgman Cross Country Invitational, Redlecki placed seventh in the field of Region 3 competitors.

The men's team, led by Joey Pillittieri (Falconer, NY/Falconer HS), is coming off a second-place finish at the 13th Annual Meghan Memorial host Hilbert College bac on October 9th. Earlier this season at the FLCC Bruce Bridgeman Cross Country Invitational. Pillittieri finished ninth in the field of Region 3 runners.

The women's 5k will take place at 11 a.m. while the men's 8k will take place at 11:45 a.m.
