Jayhawks Have Strong Showing at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational

ROCHESTER - The Jamestown Community College cross country competed at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College Saturday morning. In the field of runners, there were competitors from NCAA Divisions I, II, and III along with runners from the NJCAA ranks.

 

Freshman runner Emma Redlecki (Clymer, NY/Clymer Central) finished with a time of 24:48.2 in the 5k, the third best time for NJCAA runners. Redlecki finsihed 149th out of 184 runners.

 

Freshman runner Joey Pillitieri (Falconer, NY/Falconer HS) finished with a time of 31:09.8 in the 8k, the third best time for NJCAA runners. Pillitieri finished 143rd out of 199 runners.

 

The Jayhawks will take a week off before competing in the 13th annual Meghan Memorial Invitational hosted by Hilbert College on October 9th.
