CANANDAIGUA - The Jamestown Community College cross country team had their best performance of the season as both runners finished in the top-10 at the Finger Lakes Community College Bruce Bridgeman Invitational.
Emma Redlecki (Clymer, NY/Clymer Central) had a strong showing, placing seventh in the 5k event out of 20 runners. Redlecki finished with a time of 27:10.7.
Joey Pillittieri (Falconer, NY/Falconer HS) also had a strong showing in the men's race, placing ninth in the 8k event out of 42 runners. Pillittieri finished with a time of 31:03.3, two tenths of a second behind the eighth place finisher.
The Jayhawks will be back in action next Saturday, September 25th, as they travel to Roberts Wesleyan College for the Harry F. Anderson Invitational.
